Rubber adhesive is best for rough or uneven surfaces, block, drywall, rubber, cloth, and latex painted metal including raw metal. Rubber adhesive has a slightly thicker, foam tape adhesive, which can better absorb uneven surfaces. Rubber also has a higher "initial" peel strength. The drawback is that it does not handle temperature changes as well as Acrylic and has a shorter "long term" adhesion factor on some materials. These mounts will accept 4", 5½", 7½", 8", 11", and 14" standard width ties including our Marcon II Premium Cable Ties. It has a countersunk screw hole in the center of the mount instead of a standard hole in each corner.
