| Lag Screw Expansion Shields are designed for medium to heavy anchoring in all types of solid masonry. Will even work in out-of-roundholes. The properties of this anchor make it less likely to be "over-tightened" thus is ideal for use at the edges of slabs or in hard, brittle materials such as brick. Short shields develop maximum holding power in hard masonry. Long shields provide additional bearing surface to increase holding power in softer masonry.
