Boss Products™ 315 Pure Silicone Sealant (100%) - Multi-purpose silicone sealant used in numerous bonding and sealing applications and as a space-filling rubbery adhesive or a formed in place gasket. Specific applications include adhering auto trim, appliance trim, name plates, bonding appliance parts, signs and sign letters; caulking doors and windows, sheet metal stacks, ductwork; making formed-in-place gaskets for compressors, gearboxes, pumps; sealing flashing, vents, flues on gas appliances, gutters, interior wall surfaces, marine cabins and windows, and electrical boxes. This sealant is a one-part slumping paste that cures at room temperature to a tough, rubbery solid. It may be applied overhead or on side wall joints and surfaces; will not sag or run off. Most paints to not adhere to the sealant, and may cause corrosion to certain metal subtrates. It is not recommended for underwater use, concrete or mortar. It cures at room temperature, on exposure to water vapor in the air. The sealant releases acetic acid(vinegar-like odor) during cure. The tack-free time is 15 to 20 minutes. This product complies with Federal Specification TT-S-1543a, Class A, (COM-NBC) and TT-S-00230C, Class A, (COM-NBS), USDA Rating P1, NSF Rating C2, FDA Regulation No. 21 CFR 177-2600, and ASTM C920-86. This sealant has a temperature range of -60°F to 450°F.
