"weather resistant" ties. They are used for outdoor applications or where black ties are
needed for aesthetic reasons. These ties are made of Type UV Black 6/6 Nylon, are Self-
Extinguishing UL4 Flam. Class V-2, and meet the dimensional specifications of the current
listed Military Standard MS3367-4, MS3367-5, MS3367-7, MS3367-2. There is no
military standard for the thinner, 40lb tensile, 8" cable ties. The UV Black Heavy Duty
Cable Ties are also known as extra-width "weather resistant" ties. They are designed for
strapping heavy cables, duct work, or any other application that calls for wide, high tensile
strength ties.
